What we collect
When you subscribe, we collect your email address and standard signup context (such as the page you subscribed from, your IP address, and approximate location derived from it). When you read our emails, our email platform records standard engagement data — opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes — which we use to keep the newsletter deliverable and relevant.
That's it. We don't ask for your name, we don't buy data about you, and we never collect financial account information.
How we use it
- To send you the newsletter you asked for — that's the whole product.
- To maintain list hygiene: subscribers who never open are eventually removed, which protects everyone's deliverability.
- To understand, in aggregate, which content and signup sources work.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address. Ever.
Who processes it
Our newsletter is delivered by Kit (kit.com), which stores subscriber data on our behalf as a processor. Our website is hosted in the United States. Market data and news shown in issues come from third-party sources (CoinGecko, alternative.me, and the credited news outlets); those requests happen on our servers — none of your data is sent to them.

This website is a simple publication. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits; we don't run advertising trackers on this site. Links to third-party sites (including affiliate links, below) are governed by those sites' own policies once you click through.

- Access or deletion — email us and we'll show you what we hold about you (it's your email address and engagement history) or delete it entirely.
- EU/UK/Swiss visitors — although Coin Mornings is US-targeted, if GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Contact us to exercise any of them.
Children
Coin Mornings is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has subscribed, contact us and we'll remove them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll note it in the newsletter and update the effective date above.
